We print FDM (filament), not resin — so no brittle parts, no chemical smell, and tough materials that actually hold up. For safety we don't laser-cut PVC, vinyl or unidentified plastics.
📐 Getting your file ready
A two-minute check that saves you a reprint.
How do I export an STL from my software?
Tinkercad — click Export → .STL. That's it.
Fusion 360 — Utilities → Make → 3D Print, or right-click the body → Save as Mesh. Set units to mm and refinement to High.
Blender — File → Export → STL. Enable Scene Unit and keep Scale at 1.0, or your model may arrive tiny.
Onshape — right-click the part tab → Export → STL, resolution Fine.
Bambu Studio / PrusaSlicer — if you already have a project, export the plate as 3MF so colours and settings come with it.
What if I don't have a 3D file at all?
Very common, and no problem. Send a photo of the broken part with a ruler beside it, a rough sketch with measurements, or a link to a model you found online. We'll tell you what's possible and what it would cost before any work starts.
Simple brackets, spacers and replacement parts are usually quick. Complex organic shapes take longer, so we'll always quote first.
⚠️ Four things that catch people out
- Units — design in millimetres. An inch-based file can arrive 25× too big.
- Thin walls — aim for at least 0.8 mm, or 1.2 mm if the part needs to take load.
- Watertight mesh — the model should be a closed solid, with no holes or floating surfaces.
- Size — bigger than roughly 250 mm cubed? Send it anyway; we can split it into parts or run it on the larger machine.
